Continuing the partnership between DiGiCo and 5 Star, The world-leading digital console manufacturer have added another flight case version for their ever popular SD11. Launched at Pro Light + Sound, Frankfurt in April 2011, the SD11 is the smallest format console from the DiGiCo stable but customers have asked for a more portable version of the existing case and with this in mind, 5 Star presented the ‘Rolling’ version recently.

Due to the huge demand for the console (and case!), 5 Star wanted to retain as many of the unique features of the existing case, such as the built-in LED lighting.

The tilt 19” rack mount facility has been replaced with a shallow base format and polyethylene protection, whilst retaining the visually appealing CNC machined side cheeks. In this version of case, the console’s proprietary surround cheeks are left on. Due to the shallow base/deep lid configuration, front headphone socket and all rear in/out connections are easily accessible, without the need for a hinged flap.

Also featured on the Rolling case is a new pullout keyboard drawer, specially designed and manufactured for the DiGiCo consoles. This keyboard drawer is flush-mounted externally, ensuring a small case footprint.

	Available now is two distinctly different types of Laptop Case. Designed to suit up to most 17” and widescreen laptops and notebooks. Choose from traditional Light Industrial or the new LX Range.


	Both feature a tray to house the notebook, which is hinged on the Light Industrial version and removable on the LX Range.


	Various sized ‘self-stick’ foam blocks are supplied to allow for different notebook dimensions. PSU, cables, mouse and other accessories are also catered for with ample space under the tray.
